Q My ground orchids leaves died out with the unussually cold winter we had this year. Only the clumps are left. Could de plant be dead or shall I wait before pulling the clumps out?

Dear Manuel, You've probably done something with your little ground orchids by now, but if you haven't, don't touch them over the cold weather. Our climate here is probably a little colder than yours in winter, so my ground orchids always die down but come up again better than ever in early spring. They seem to know what they need, so relax & enjoy them. By the way, have you noticed that when they come up they always seem to form a sort of ring? Hope this helps.
