Q I have planted the firecracker flower plant purchased from a local vendor. He has potted the plant with the required manure and fertiliser. It is a week since the got the plant and have been watering it regularly, but the plant seems to be drying up. Please tell me the remedy how I can revive it what is the general error occurred while taking care of the plant, as my other plants are fine.

(1) This plant doesn't like too much sunlight. Partly shaded areas are best.
(2) Don't over-water. It likes moist soil with very good drainage.
(3) Keep dead-heading the plant to stimulate growth and flowering.
Your plant may have come with a disease which is killing it, but I suspect your problem is likely to be due to too much water or too much sunlight, or clogging (clayey) soil.
