Heart Rate can be measured while at rest and while exercising. A heart rate usally ranges from 50 to 100. It can go up to 120 during exercise and excitement. If your resting heart rate is 107 it is abnormal. It can be because of many reasons. Fever raises heart rate. Dehydration can increase heart rate and cardiac problems can increase heart rate. So can endocrine abnormalities such as hyperthyrodism.
