Q | Are the blossoms on Bourgonvilla the leaves that have changed colour or are they they actual flower? | |

1 | The colourful "blossoms" that we see on Bougainvillea are not the flowers but the showy bracts. The actual flower is a tiny little one which can be seen inside the three protective bracts. The bracts are colourful to attract bees/butterflies to the flowers, for pollination, as the insignificant looking flower would never draw any attention towards it! |
