Dear Mouli,

Let your fascination towards astrophysics drives you to achieve what you are dreaming of. The course you have mentioned does not need masters degree in physics. You are eligible to apply for the integrated MSc-Ph.D. However, you probably have to clear a competitive exam. So prepare yourself for it ( say, JEST exam). Please keep in touch with IIA (http://www.iiap.res.in/intphd.htm) and IGNOU sites. However there are other institutes offering MSc-Ph.D integrated courses such as IISc and SNBNC.

Right now: focus on clearing the competitive exam. Best wishes.
