Correspondence course do not actually make you a good researcher, in my opinion. But, don't worry. There is however a good opportunity for you. Pursue integrated MSc-PhD course. There are institutes in India offering it, such as: IIA, IISc..SNBNC, etc. You can also get scholarships and can support your family too. So, prepare for entrance exam such as JEST. Please have a look at the website of such institutes. So, Lakshmi, a good opportunity is awaiting for you. Go and get it, make your dream come true.
