The best option is to do masters. There are many potions after M.Sc. For instance, If her interest is research oriented, she can do a doctoral research in the same area, which will take at least upto four years after masters. After doctorate, she could join as a scientist, lecturer or research associate in universities/CSIR institutes. If you are looking for a job immediately after M.Sc, it possible to join in DAE research units immediately after M.Sc. (checkout the websites of BARC and IGCAR).
