Q Hello sir, I am first year B.Sc. Physics student. After completing my degree I wish to become a scientist in petroleum or oil industry. Is it a right choice sir? Sir please tell what can I do for fulfill my dream. what are the other opportunities in petroleum or oil industry?

Hello Athira,

It is unfortunately a bad choice.
Being a physics student, your competence for the petroleum or oil industry is very poor while comparing to a chemistry student. However, there is always a hope. What I would suggest you to pursue master degree in Geology, or courses that include remote sensing. Then you may find a job in petroleum or oil industry as a scientist, who can help the industry to find new resource locations and data analysis.
