There can be many causes for bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy. The most common one is implantation bleeding. This happens when the fertilized ovum gets attached to the uterine wall. This does not cause any harm. There are also other causes of bleeding which can be more serious. Since You have done a scanning and seen a normal baby you should not worry. Good Luck!!
