My daughter is studying for mech. engg.in one of the reputed govt. engg. college for women only. There are sixty girls who are studing for Mech. Engg. in her class.

hey there, yes there are girls in mechanical field. i'm in my 4th year engineering and i can tell you, its a fun filled field wherein you enjoy studying it. there is no such matter saying is it good for a girl or not, there are no physically challenging tasks for a girl i must say.
