Check if she has ticks...combing your dog frequently shud help in shedding away dead hair & removing some of the ticks.There r dusting powders available in the market ...also u get gloves with rubber spikes that can be put on & used for scratching the dog. Frequent baths r not advisable...maybe bathing once or twice a month's fine. Consult with a vet before opting for ointments... Some natural ingredients that can be used instead are neem oil. Have you ever seen Stray dogs rolling over ash or mud? Y? It probably keeps their coats clean i guess :-) |
