Day 1 : Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Traditional welcome and transfer to the hotel. New Delhi, the capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern. Standing along the west end of gangetic plain, the capital city, Delhi, unwinds a picture rich with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts, the Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of northern India. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2 : Agra
After a morning at leisure, drive to the city of Taj, Agra. Agra, with its laid -back lifestyle and its immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jewellery, is amongst the most remarkable city of the world. Agra grew in prominence as almost all of India came under the rule of Mughal empire but it reached its zenith under the rule of Akbar, Shah Jehan and Jehangir. Agra is also home to some of the finest monuments of the Mughal period. Arrive by evening and check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to explore the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone - undoubtedly the highlight of the tour. After lunch, go on a tour of the imposing Agra Fort, built of red sandstone and marble. It is a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates.
Day 4 : Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur - the fabled ''pink city'' of the desert. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. In the afternoon proceed to the 'Pink City' of Jaipur, arrive and check in to the hotel. This will be a cultural evening, visit Chokhi Dhani - An ethnic village resort, where the vitality of Rajasthani folk culture comes alive as children dance rhythmically to the loud tenor of folk songs sung by men and women. A traditional Rajasthani dinner will be served. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur
After breakfast, leave for a half - day sightseeing tour to view the elegant Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. Visit the Maharajah's City Palace, now partly a museum which displays a unique fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and houses a rare collection of paintings, Rajput armoury and costumes. Also, visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Jaipur
After breakfast, visit the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber - ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant and wander among glittering inlays and the Hall of Mirrors. A ride on the back of a painted elephant is a special tourist attraction and a unique experience. The Amber Fort is located within the Aravalli Hills and is the most impressive one in the region. After lunch, proceed by road back to Delhi, arrive and check in to the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. If you want you could enjoy the sights and sounds of this brilliant city. Day 7 : Departure
After breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Including Jama Masjid, Red Fort. In New Delhi, visit 11th century Qutab Minar Tower, the India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President's House and Parliament House all dating back to the time of British Raj. The imperial city of New Delhi generates a mesmerizing charm reflecting well-composed and spacious streets under the shade of imposing government buildings. Evening transfer to the international airport to board your homeward flight with sweet memories of your holiday of Delhi and Rajasthan
