All Saints Cathedral

The magnificent 19th century All Saints Cathedral is located in Canning town Opposite the Junction Railway Station, about 4.5kms from the city centre. Designed in 1871 by Sir William Emerson, the cathedral was consecrated in 1887 and was completed four years later.  Also known as Patthar Girja (Church of Stones), the cathedral is a remarkable example of colonial style of architecture. The intricate work and designs on the marble altar and the stained glass panel makes the cathedral more attractive.
