| It is an ancient city with long history. Supposed to be ruled by Cheras and Cholas . Unfortunately, most of the citizens of Karur laugh at us when we enquire about the historical importance! With two magnificent temples (Pasupatheeswarar and Thaanthoni malai)this place looks good for pilgrimage. Textile is another area where you can explore for bed spreads etc. Well connected with all major towns in Tamil Nadu at equaldistance also. | |
