Constructed in the year 1510 AD by Alfonso De Albuquerque, the Chapel of our Lady of the Mount is located in Old Goa, Panaji. Situated in a picturesque surrounding, atop a hill, it is one among the important tourist spots in Goa. The chapel which was reconstructed twice has three main altars dedicated to Our lady of the Mount, St. Anthony and St. Andrew. A series of steps lead to the Chapel.
