Celina jaitley, daughter of a punjabi father and Afghani mother, who aimed to become a pilot and was preparing for Combined Defense Services examinations. She  participated in the beauty contest in Kolkata and won the beauty pageant there and thus started her career in modeling world.

she won the Miss India2001 and Miss Universe 2001 fourth runner up. She also won the Miss Margo Beautiful skin, Inditimes Surfer's Choice, and MTV's Most Wanted awards. Celina entered in the  Bollywood as an  actress through Feroz Khan’s Janasheen.
