ivacious model Tulip Joshi, born to Gujarati father and Lebanese mother, was brought up in Mumbai. As a contestant of Femina Miss India 2000, she caught the eyes of many advertising agencies and appeared in campaigns for Pond's cream, Pepsi, Siyaram, BPL, Smirnoff etc. This graduate in food science and chemistry, made her filmy debut as Sanjana in the movie 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai' (2002) which did not do well at the box office. After a break of two years, she made a retort with 'Dil Maange More' (2004), followed by 'Matrubhoomi' (2005) in which her performance won rave reviews. Apart from these, she did a Telugu flick 'Villian' (2003) and featured in a music video made as a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
