Richard, a South Indian film actor, better known as Rishi in Telegu is former Actress Shalini’s brother. He made his debut in films with Kadhir’s 'Kadhal Virus' (2002) in Tamil. His debut in Malayalam was in 2004 in the film 'Koottu'. Both these movies fared badly at the box office. After this, he acted in a couple of Tamil films like 'Girivalam' (2005) and 'Shanmukha' and a Telegu film 'A film by Aravind' (2005). Richard is still looking for a break, and he is pinning hopes on his forthcoming Tamil venture 'Naalai' by Mahesh which stars Madhumitha opposite him. He has two more film offers on hand 'Yugaa' and 'Mrs.Raghavan'.
