Siddhanth Shiv temple, situated between Takhat Sagar hills and Kalyana lake on Jodhpur-Chopasani Road, is about 10 km away from Jodhpur. One can reach the temple only after crossing the stairs made by cutting rocks. Years back, the place exactly where the temple now stands was completely a deserted area. Siddhanth Shiv temple was believed to be built by Gaurishanker, a Nepali Baba, himself by cutting stones. He was a handicapped saint, who had only four fingers in each of his hand and foot.
