Located at a distance of 8km from Central Bus Stand, on the way to Gangapur dam is the Someshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This oldest temple was built on the banks of the sacred river Godavari. Besides Lord Shiva, the temple is also the abode of Lord Hanuman. Devotees can take the pleasure of swimming and boating in the nearby river bed.
