The 1200 years old, Manappullikkavu Bhagavathy Temple is dedicated to Mother Goddess 'Manapulli Bhagavathy'. By way of rites and rituals, this temple is different from other Bhagavathy and daily rituals are performed according to tantric traditions by the Kerala Brahmins, i.e the Namboodiries. Both Saiva and Vaishnava traditions are observed in the poojas. Every year, an annual festival called Manappullikavu Vela is held here.
