Tithal, located 108 km away from Surat and 5 kms from Valsad city on the Bombay-Vadodara Western Railway, is famous for its beautiful sandy beach. Overlooking the Arabian sea, the beach stretching the western part of Valsad is having black coloured soil. For the children there is a play area while the grown up have palm sheltered cottages to relax and enjoy the nature’s beauty. October to March is the best season to visit this place.

Tithal is also famous for its mangor and chikoo farms. A Shirdi Sai Baba temple and a Swami Narayan temple are located here. Traditionally prepared cuisines are another attraction of this place. One could find many shops and stalls that sell various kinds of souvenirs.
