Pabitora, is a small wildlife sanctuary located in the Morigaon district at a distance of 60 km from Guwahati. The sanctuary is well-known for its great Indian one-horned rhinoceros. Other inhabitants include leopards, Asiatic buffalo, wild bear, tigers, civet cats etc. It also has more than 200 varieties of migratory and non-migratory birds. The best season to visit the sanctuary is from November to March.
