Lumbini Park spread over an area of 4 acres is located adjacent to Hussain Sagar Lake right across the Buddha Statue, at a distance of 3kms from Hyderabad. This amusement park, named after the garden that was the birthplace of Buddha, offers a lot of amusement for all kinds of people.

At the main entrance of the park, there is a large floral clock with brightly colored flowers of different shades. The major highlight of the park is the spectacular musical and dancing fountain and water cascade, provided with colorful lights. The fountain which dance to the tunes of popular numbers from Hindi and Telugu films draws huge crowds. The visitors can also avail and enjoy the boating facilities provided at the nearby Hussain Sagar Lake. The Lumbini park comes alive in all its splendor at night. It is open on all days from 9.00 A.M. to 9.00 P.M. except Mondays.
