How do u maintain the right temperature to melt gel wax? |

I want to make roses with black clay. The product has to be fired. To give a glossy finish,I paint them with pearl finish fabric paint.Can I improve the look by dipping them in melted wax.I want the flowers to look dewy.

I would like to find out the a name of a certain fabric which I bought short time ago in
India.
I am wondering what the name for this fabric in India is called, where it comes from and if this is a certain region where woman make it.
The fabric has following details:
- floral (leafes, blossoms) applicated with very fine stitches mostly on organdy
- Edges can be done with crochet
Myself I bought it as a stola or you call it a dupatta.
