I would like to congratulate Aleena on her wonderful video. I have a few questions :
1) Which is the type of canvas to be used, any specifications.
2) W.r.t varnish - can we use the Clear varnish of asian paints - if others pls specify.
3) Turpentine - do we need to mix turpentine with paint before applying it on the canvas using a knife.
4) Linseed Oil - when and where do we require to use it.

I saw the shadow work in the images on this site. There the stitches are more close and herringbone stitch is not visible. What I want to know is which is the correct way close stitches or stitches with space between them or there is no standard way ? |
