For pursuing a career in the filed of Nanotechnolgy, one must have a post graduate qualification in the subject. i.e they must have an M.Tech or M.Sc. degree in Nanotechnology. So if you wish to pursue higher studies in Nanotechnology, first you apply for B.Tech degree in any one of the following. i.e in Material science, Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Biotechnology , Electronics and Computer Science and after completing the B.Tech degree you can apply for M.Tech in Nanotechnology . Dear Velmurugan,
Nothing wrong in your decision. What I can suggest you that to stay in the current job (if that possible) , and prepare for GATE exam. Then join for M.Tech. You may join directly for research as well. Nano-Tech is a great field of future and you will not have to struggle again to get a job after completing the course.
Best wishes Rupesh
