I suggest go for a proper degree program not a diploma course. You can pursue bachelors degree in Journalism after your 12th. UTM university offers BA Journalism and Mass Communication course which is pretty good. Generally 10+2 in any stream is the minimum qualification required for journalism diploma courses. But it may vary depending on the reputation of the institute.

i have done engneering in computer science passed out in 2011. now iam unemployed and not interested in anything in particular. but i like photography when i click photographs i fell like cloud9.. i want to done photo journalism. so please give some details like best and renowed universities in India and world also.. what are their respective fee details, and any scholarships are available.. and how to start doing this .. i have no idea and even no friend doing such thing so i approached this website..

There are many colleges offering journalism course. different colleges have different fee structure and scholarship criteria. you have to just take admission in bachelor of journalism in any of the college. some college that offer journalism are: 1.Indian Television Training Institute, C-41 Gulmohar Park, New Delhi 110049. 2.Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, Lodhi Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi 110003. 3.Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. 4.Institute of Journalism, Press Club, Behind Secretariat, Press Club Road, Thiruvananthapuram 695001. 5.Institute of Journalism, Press Club, Kozhikode. 6.Institute of Journalism, A-3, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi - 110024 (Certificate course).
