Diploma in agriculture is a good option. The students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. |

Various universities and colleges in India offers Under-graduate, Post-graduate, Diploma and Doctorate courses in agricultural science/engineering. Dear Vaibhav Chaudhary,
I believe that your interest in agriculture is academic for the time being. If you mean to get into the farming agriculture, I would suggest you to finish your studies and get into it, so that you can be a very successful farmer with your strong academic basis in agriculture.
Since you are a PCB student, you may clear the entrance examination for an agricultural course, like agricultural engineering or Bachelor of Agriculture. You may opt for biotechnology in the plant science division as well.
There are many institutes under ICAR (Indian Council for Agricultural Research) and other agencies providing high impact courses in the field of agriculture and allied sciences. You may do a thorough search on the internet to get more details. You may get back to us with more specific questions after doing this exercise. All the best. |
