Sammir Dattani, model turned actor, is one of the youngest and most sought-after hero's in Hindi cinema since Shahid Kapur. Sammir, who is a B.Com graduate, hailing from a business-family, made his portfolio which led to 6-7 music videos and dozens of ads. His film debut as the leading man was in a Kannada film 'Nanna Preetiya Hudugi' (2001) a box office hit. He kicked off his career in Hindi films with a big banner Rajshree Productions film, 'Uuf Kya Jaadu Mohabbat Hai' (2004) in which he was paired opposite another debutante Pooja. But the film did not make  waves in the box office. His second film was 'Pyaar Mein Twist' (2005) which also failed to stir the box. But Sammir, the Mumbai based blue-eyed boy resurfaced in Madhur Bhandarkar's film 'Corporate' (2006)as a young executive and has movies like 'Marathon' and 'Mukhbir' on the wings.
