Conformed Copy
Definition

A conformed copy means the exact copy of a document filed with a court. To conform a copy, the court clerk stamped the document with the filing date and add any handwritten notations to the document that exist on the original, including dates and the judge's signature. A conformed copy may or may not be certified -- this is, guaranteed by a court or government agency to be a true and exact copy of the original. Under the evidence law, it is admissible as evidence if an original court document is lost.
