Tandoori Potatoes

Tandoori aloo or aloo tikka recipe is a popular tandoori dish. The recipe given is a variation from the original and is with gravy, tailored to serve with roti or naan.

Ingredients :

Cooked baby potatoes washed and peeled - 6
Oil - 1tablespoon
Tandoori masala - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 1 cup
Dried fenugreek leaves - ¼ teaspoon
Salt - to taste
For smooth paste
Dry kashmiri red chillies - 2-3
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Coriander cumin seeds powder - 2 teaspoon
Water - ¼ cup

Preparation :

Grind red chillies, ginger garlic paste, coriander-cumin seeds and water to make a smooth paste out of it. Keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add the prepared smooth paste into it and mix it well. Cook it for one minute.

Add cooked potatoes, milk, kasuri methi, tandoori masala and salt into it and mix all well. Cook it for another 2 minutes.

Here our tandoori potatoes are ready. It goes well with chappathi or rice!
