Beef Masala Curry

Ingredients :

Beef - ½ kg
Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - Onion- 2 to 3 no
Tomato - 2 no
Curry leaves - a spig
Green chilly - 2-3 no
Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tbsp
Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste

Preparation :

Clean and cut beef into bite sized pieces. Marinate beef with a mixture of coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilly powder, pepper powder, Garam masala, ginger garlic paste and salt for 30 mins.

Transfer the beef in to a pressure cooker with 3 cups water and cook till the meat is tender. Beef needs almost 20-25 mins or 6 to 7 whistles to get cooked.

Once the beef gets cooked, heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan and add fenugreek seeds to it. Then gradually add onion, salt, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste (1 tsp), green chilly along with tomatoes and mix well.

Once the tomatoes are cooked add 1 tbsp each of pepper powder, garam masala and chilly powder, Saute for 2 more minutes.

Now add the boiled beef along with some water, mix well and close the pan with a lid and simmer for 10 to 15 mins.

Now open the lid, add 1 tbsp of coconut oil on top of it, Mix well and transfer in to a serving dish.
