Cooking Method :

Pour oil to the pan.Allow it to heat well. Add Chopped Ginger, Garlic and Chopped Green Chillies. Then add a few curry leaves and saute it well. To that add Chopped Onions. When it gets fried well, add he Onion paste (onion/Garlic/Ginger/Tomato). Until the paste becomes brown, saute it well.

Masala has turned golden brown color, now add Kashmiri chilli to it. Kashmiri chilli will provide more color to our curry. When Kashmiri chilli get cooked well, add the tomato pulp to it.

Fry the mixture to remove the tomato water in it. When the masala becomes brown, add needed water to it.

Now masala is in a soup form. Add 2-3 pieces of Cocum (Tamarind) to it. Add required amount of salt. Now our masala for this curry is ready.

Now to this we will add fish. To this fish we have added masala like salt, vinegar, turmeric and marinated the fish for 5 mins. Now add this to curry masala. Cover the fish completely with the gravy.

We will add some more water so that the fish gets cooked well. Now cove the pan, we will leave the fish to cook for 20 minutes in the masala.

Now the fish is almost ready. Thirutha Mulakittathu is ready to serve.
