Vegetable masala sandwich and Mango smoothie

Veg masala sandwich Ingredients:
Bread slices - as required
Oil - 3- 4 tsp
Chopped Onion - ½ cup
Chopped Tomato - ½ cup
Chopped green chillies - 3-4 no
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Chopped Carrots - ½ cup
Tomato Sauce - 1 tsp
Chopped Coriander leaves - 3-4 sprigs
Salt - to taste

Cooking Method :

Heat up the pan, lower the flame and pour some vegetable oil. Now add half cup each of chopped Onions and tomatoes, along with green chillies. Sauté the mixture till the oil appears on top. To this add a teaspoon of turmeric powder and red chilly powder and continue sautéing.

Add half cup of chopped carrots, then little amount of water if necessary, a teaspoon of tomato sauce and a pinch of salt and continue sautéing. When the carrots are done, add coriander leaves to the pan, blend well and switch off the stove.

Transfer this veg masala to a bowl. Slice the bread into triangular shapes, spread some butter on them and finally fill the masala in between bread slices.

Here we are done with our Veg masala sandwich.

 
Mango smoothie Ingredients:
Chopped ripe mangoes - 2 nos
Ice Cubes - 7 to 8
Sugar - 3-4 spoons
Coconut milk - half a cup

Cooking Method :

Add all the ingredients one after the other into a mixer and blend well, till it turns out a rich thick smoothie. Add water if necessary.

You can serve the sandwich with smoothie and your healthy evening snack is all set.
