Method of Preparation :

First wash the rice flakes in some water and drain it out immediately. Now add some oil in a pan and sauté onions, followed by green chilies, carrot and curry leaves for some time. Add salt to taste and one and half teaspoon of garam masala! Now into the brown sautéed mixture, add bread pieces and mix well. After some time transfer the soaked rice flakes into the pan and mix well. Turn off the stove and transfer the mixture onto a bowl and keep it aside for cooling.

Now start making round balls out of the mixture and then flatten it into an oval shape. Roll each cutlet lightly in beaten egg and rusk powder to give it a thin coating.

Pour some oil into the pan, when the oil gets heated up put the cutlets one by one into the oil and fry them. When one side turns golden brown turn over, and fry the other side as well. Serve hot onto a plate and enjoy with a dip of tomato ketchup!
