Mr. perfectionist, Aamir Khan, always picks his roles with utmost care. 'Rang De Basanthi' and 'Fanaa' were his choices of 2006 and as usual he gave his maximum to the chosen roles.

The year started on a positive note for the creative actor. First, he tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Kiran Rao. It was followed by the release of "Rang De Basanti", which struck gold at the box office.

In Fanaa, he swings from the role of an eternal romantic to a hardened terrorist with ease. Aamir displayed great chemistry with his heroine Kajol and excelled in some sequences. The year was a good one for Aamir, one of the most versatile and intelligent actors in Bollywood.
