Anil started his career with Woh Saat Din with Padmini Kolhapure and
Naseerudhin Shah in lead role. His father Surinder Kapoor was secretary
to Shammi Kapor and also produced and distributed films. But he was not
successful and lost lots of money. Anil was frustrated with the struggle
and desperately wanted to become an actor, he had a real passion for it.
Eshwar and Saheb were family oriented movie's which had a heart touching
theme. Subhash Ghai's Karma gave Anil Kapoor a chance to show his talents.
In 1989, Tezaab was released and Anil Kapoor became Super star in night.
Anil Kapoor gave many hits with Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. 1942- A Love
Story, Parinda, Laadla, Judaai, Viraasat, Taal, are his hit films, He
bag a National Award for his performance in Pukar.
Confident beyond doubt of his talent, Anil yet doesn’t permit himself
to get smug, working on himself in each film like it is his first. He’s
