Abhimanyu along with his investigative journalist girl friend Reena
(Heena) tries to crack the case and tries to collect evidence against
Bunty with the help of a social worker Yogi. But the court acquits Bunty
and he is set free. This urges Abhimanyu to convince Kunti not to fear
society and to come out of her low profile, face the world and seek
justice. She does it with vigour and books the culprit who ruined her
life.
There has a been a number of movies in similar lines and there is no
novelty to the theme. Though the story had room for histrionics the
direction as well as the screenplay works against it. The screenplay
is so predictable that one knows what's coming next. The pace is irregular
throughout, especially the second half is full of un-needed song sequences.
Music is just 'chalta' so is the cinematography.
Performance wise Namrata lacks the fire needed for the protagonist
who fight for justice against all odds. Sanjay Suri as her husband displays
his distress convincingly. Dino Morea and Heena are just okay.
Overall the film lacks conviction. It is going to be a failure at
the box office.
