Brittany Murphy is Molly Gunn, the 22-year-old Manhattan socialite and a carefree spoiled daughter of a late rock star. She is emotionally under aged. She was born to shop, nonstop partying and flirting just because of her inheritance in the trust fund. But her world changes, when her trust fund was bilked by her accountant. Molly is thrown out of her apartment and she is forced to find a job.

One of her friends help Molly find a job as a nanny for Ray (Fanning) an intelligent but spoiled 8-year-old daughter of an A&R executive mother (Heather Locklear). Ray has grown up with lots of nannies and not much parenting. Her father is in a coma in a room down the hall from her bedroom.

Though, Ray is a demanding and verbally abusive kid, Molly helps Ray get in touch with her problems and the two develops a bond. They help each other with their various issues. The movie has many touching and warm moments. It can make you feel warm and fuzzy inside and it can touch your heart. Boaz Yakin has done a remarkable job. Most of the characters in the movie put up a wonderful performance.

It is a pretty good movie, and a must see for Murphy fans. We rate it above average.
