A sequel to the film "Saw", a horror thriller about a serial killer.
Jigsaw played by Tobin Bell, has abducted and imprisoned eight people in a dilapidated home that is filled with booby traps,
coughed up blood and convulsions. He has been killing them one by one with different deadly games.
Some of his victims included a dirty cop Eric Mason's (Donnie Wahlberg)
juvenile delinquent son Daniel (Erik Knudsen), a drug dealer named Xavier
(Frankie G) and his sexy girlfriend Addison (Emmanuelle Vaugier), a drug
addict named Obi (Tim Burd) and another addict named Amanda played by
Shawnee Smith. These victims tried to escape from the clutches of Jigsaw
but none of them couldn't coordinate their escape plans and as a result
they had to suffer more. The terminally ill serial killer Jigsaw put up
a real fight with the cop Eric as the cop along with the SWAT team tried
to capture Jigsaw and free his victims.

First time
feature director Darren Bousman unsuccessfully tried to narrate a thriller
story of a serial killer. This film has no comparison to the original
film "Saw". He has totally failed to create any psychological fear
or suspense. He has filled the film with utter sadistic appeal rather
than the sense of horror.
Tobin Bell as Jigsaw presented a poor performance. He doesn't have the cleverness of a serial
killer. On the other hand Donnie Wahlberg is not too bad as a cop. Rest of the cast
present a mediocre performance.
This film doesn't have the brilliance of the original one and it has no comparison to the popular thriller films like "Silence of the Lambs".
As an entertainer it has very little value and you should save that trip to the theater for a better film.
