Script

Lee (Jackie Chan) and Carter (Chris Tucker) join talents again to produce the sequel to the action packed comedy, Rush Hour. Chan and Tucker is back in their roles as Chief Inspector Lee (Chan) of the Royal Hong Kong Police and the all-American LAPD detective James Carter (Tucker).
The film begins with the bombing of a building in Hong Kong and the killing of two US Customs agents, investigating a case of counterfeit money and continues into a complicated plot of deceit, lies and stealing. The Hong Kong police suspect a man Ricky Tan, behind the blast and puts Lee on the case. For Lee the case becomes personal as Tan was once his father's police partner and played a direct role in his death. Carter on a vacation to Hong Kong, assists Lee in nabbing the criminals who are interested in all the major elements of crime such as laundering money, printing fake bills and “cleaning the money” with various methods.

The film is filled with action-packed scenes, with stunts performed by Chan himself. There is also a humourous element to the film, which keeps the audience entertained during the lulls between fights. The movie in itself has an interesting storyline.. and the comic relief is an added bonus.

We rate this film as good.
