romantic tale of two people who are born to be in love.

In making
his feature debut, director Joe Wright has narrated an 18th century
classic romantic tale with charm and grace. He presents a well written
story and a brilliant group of actors. By emphasizing the idea of
misunderstanding in a romance, he builds up a strong tale that shows
the two characters Lizzie and Darcy are meant for each other. Breathtaking
cinematography with the 18th century period details and costumes as well
as stunning sets are really notable.
Keira Knightley as Elizabeth presents a brilliant and vibrant performance.
She is headstrong
but romantic, stubborn but judgmental, self confident but vulnerable. The character Lizzie makes
her an unforgettable heroine. Matthew MacFayden as Mr. Darcy is very good.
There is good chemistry
between Lizzie and Darcy.
The moment Lizzie saw Mr. Darcy, she falls for him, but her pride was wounded by his attitude
and arrogance. Eventually things turn around and prove that these two people are born to be
soul mates. The film is greatly entertaining and a pleasure to watch from the beginning to the end.
This is one of the best love stories ever written and told and Jane Austen's 1813 romantic tale is
rejuvenated very well through this beautiful film. This could be the best romantic film of the year.
We rate this movie VERY GOOD.
