It is a comic fantasy, tale of two boys from Liverpool, who have lost their mother and shortly afterwards got a sack of stolen cash.

Nine year old Anthony (Lewis McGibbon) and seven year old Damien (Alex Etel) have lost their mother recently and have been going through drastic changes in their lives. Their father, Ronnie (James Nesbitt) has decided to move the family to the outskirts of Liverpool. Anthony is a math wizard while Damien is well into faith and religion. At school, Damien talks to other boys as well as teachers, about lives of different saints. Damien believes that anything is possible on earth or heaven with the help of a patron saint.

One day a large bag of cash falls off a train and virtually lands on top of Damien. The young boy is convinced that it has been dropped from heaven by God. He accepts it as a gift from God. He consults his brother Anthony about what they should do with the money. They decided not to tell their dad, just to avoid the tax complication and harassment from the people.

Britain is just days away from converting their currency to Euro. The boys have to convert all their cash into Euro within days otherwise it will become worthless. Damien wants to spend on a noble cause to help the poor. He is looking for a rescue mission that works for the poor people, and wants to give away most of the money. All of a sudden the boys come to know that the money was actually stolen by a gang of thieves. Damien is in total disarray since he can no longer consider the cash to be a gift from God. Find out how the boys are going to deal with a tough situation.

Veteran director Danny Boyle, narrates a colourful fairy tale with charisma and grace. He has succeeded very well in utilizing the full potential of the two young actors and keeping the film on track with enough comic relief. As a director, he has done a decent job. The child actors are very good. They very well portray the toughness and seriousness that is required to handle an unusual situation. Even though the movie has some flaws with the script, as a whole it is an entertainer. As a children's story, kids will love it. .

We rate this movie GOOD.
