Director/writer Woody Allen narrates a funny tale of passion by introducing
a poor guy into a rich circle. He fills the movie with humor and made
luck play a vital part in the whole story. In his 70's, Allen has tried
his best to come up with a decent film. He is trying to deliver a meaningful
message to the world that it doesn't matter how good you are, you still
need some luck to achieve your goals and make it to the top.
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Matthew Goode present a decent performance.
Beautiful American actress Scarlett Johansson as Nola presents an emotionally
touching performance. The rest of the cast are okay.
The film has it's own flaws like mediocre script and lack of imagination.
Good luck and bad luck play a vital part of the story and after a while
it is not enough to capture the attention of the viewers.
We rate this movie AVERAGE.
