Writer
director Paul Weitz, narrates a tale that is based on male bonding, which is
totally different from the usual norm. It is amusing to watch what is going on
in modern age corporations where totally unqualified people, both men and women,
get the top jobs with their charm and wit. Movie has a perfect fit with the
real world and real people.
Dennis Quaid as Dan presents an excellent
performance as a middle aged manager. Topher Grace also puts up a good
performance as a bright and ambitious guy with great drive to achieve high goals
even though he doesn't know what he is doing. He is perfect example for today's
corporate world, especially North American. It is an enjoyable movie with a lot
of pleasurable moments. It is a well acted, well taken film that correlates hard
working real people with bitter experiences.
We rate this film Good.
