The fourth screen adaptation of J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter novel, is an adventurous fantasy tale of Harry's maturity.

As the school opened the headmaster Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) announced that Hogwarts will be hosting Triwizard Tournament of the year. One person will be chosen to compete in this competition from each of the three prestigious wizard schools, the Beauxbatons Academy with beautiful girls, the Durmstrang Institute of Athletic with Eastern European boys and Hogwarts itself.

The magical Goblet of Fire picked the champions for each school from the list of names submitted. Then to everyone's surprise a fourth name is announced-Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe). The competition rules states that the participant should be at least 17 years old, Harry is only 14 and he is too young to compete in the dangerous games. But the Goblet of Fire over ruled and let Harry compete. He is as surprised as anyone else because he didn't even enter for the competition. Professor Dumbldore is worried about Harry and suspected that some strange things are happening, so he asked Alastor Mad Eye Moody (Brendan Gleeson) to keep an eye on Harry.

Harry's best friend Redheaded Ron (Rupert Grint) is angry and jealous over Harry's selection and he suspected that Harry pulled some trick to get the championship slot. But Harry's friend Hermione (Emma Watson) is happy about the whole thing but she is worried about him.

At the competition Harry has to fulfill three tasks. At first he has to escape from the clutches of fire spitting dragons and the next he has to stay underwater in the dark waters of Black Lake for a long time and the third ,the most  difficult test, happens in a maze of dangerous path way where Harry has to confront with Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes).

The new director Mike Newell is the first British director for this British movie series. He keeps up with the style and the brilliant production values of his predecessors. The movie has wonderful sets and plenty of humor and he  narrates a wonderful thrilling story with charm and wit.

Daniel Radcliffe, now 16, presents an excellent performance as Harry. It is pleasure to watch Radcliffe and his co-stars Rupert and Emma grow up together on the screen as well as in real life. Even if there are some pitfalls in their acting abilities, we all want to root for Harry and his friends whole heartedly. For sure, their performances have grown better and richer.

Harry Potter films, one after another, are getting better and better and this is the best film in the series so far. The special effects are wonderful and action scenes are great. You will be charmed with the wonders of the magic and it will be a feast for your eyes. This is the best entertaining movie of the year.

We rate this movie VERY GOOD.
