Constantine patrols the border between heaven and hell and save people's life
from demons who battle for the men's souls. When a local detective named Angela
Dodson (Rachel Weisz) is desperate to find
the truth behind her twin sister's apparent suicide, John decided to help her and
took up the investigation. Some of his friends like a fallen priest (Pruitt Taylor
Vince) and a relic collecting witch doctor (Djimon Honsou) help him by supplies
of awesome holy weapons. Along the way John learns that he and Angels have become
protectors of the humanity. It all leads to one divine climax.
Director Francis
Lawrence narrates an interesting story of good Vs evil in a quite punchy way.
The
story is fresh and new with great visual effects and good characters. But there are
times when the epic battles get struck between heaven and hell. Reeves does a
decent job as an exorcist. He very well portray feelings and emotions of a man
trapped between good and evil. The rest of the
characters are also good. The visual effects are breath taking and memorable.
The movie is filled with creativity and imagination. Overall it is
quite entertaining and the audience will definitely get a great tour of the
world of angels and demons.
We rate this movie ABOVE AVERAGE.
