Patience has a complete metamorphosis into a wild Catwoman with a
variety of cat like special powers. This new sleek woman has a fondness
for leather and sushi as well as a vengeance to get even with her killers.
She also becomes hot, sexy and an aggressive crusader.
Movie flip flop and every now and then cuts away to a romantic scene
between Patience and Tom Lone ( Benjamin Bratt) a cop that falls for
her. There is very little chemistry in their romance. Detective Tom
never suspects his girlfriend to be the scantily clad Catwoman who seems
to be responsible for the number of crime binges happening in the city.
French director Pitof, presents the movie in a silly and pointless
style. The plot gets sillier as the film progresses. Purpose of putting
gorgeous Halle Berry in a tight leather suit, bulging at the seams ready
to burst is to attract the Berry fans. Oscar winning actress' performance
as Patience is of very low quality. It is a demeaning stupid role for
a talented actress. She fails to bring life to the character.
The plot lacks substance and imagination and the special effects lacks
creativity and quality. Watching the movie, one might get a fake feeling.
Cat lovers and Berry lovers might like it but it doesn't have much human
interest. As a whole it is a disaster and a boring CAT-ASTROPHE. This
is one of the worst movie of the year.
