Actress Cameron Diaz is urging fans to make donations to environment causes as a tribute to her late father.

Contactmusic.com reports that her father Emilio died on April 15 and Diaz wants fans, friends and family to show support to the mourning family by not buying flowers.

She instead wants them to donate to her father's favourite organisations surfrider.org and reefcheck.org.
